RCA RD1060 64 MB Kazoo Digital Audio Player Overviews
Listen to the best digital tunes whenever and wherever you want. The best part is that you can listen to the music that defines your personality. The k@zoo! player is a portable MP3 digital player with skipless audio playback from its 64 MB Internal Flash Memory (expandable to 128 MB with a multi-media card – in this package it’s not included). To keep your tunes organized, the player comes with the music management software program, MusicMatch Jukebox.
[if The player itself is very nice. It's buttons are solid, the form is easy to hold and move in your hand, and the controls are well placed and responsive. It comes with a nice pack of things, such as a neck strap, wrist strap, a set of decent batteries, and a CD with the drivers and MusicMatch software on it.
That's the only bad thing. MusicMatch isn't the best program, but you have to use it. There are NO other programs that can talk to your K@zoo. Trust me, I looked all over. Nothing. You're stuck with MusicMatch. MusicMatch isn't really that bad, it's just that I really would have liked to use something else at my own option.
Thumbs up never the less. It plays my mp3 and wma files for bargain basement price.]

Works…sometimes – srvl –
Used sporadically for 2 years. Sometimes it won’t turn on, sometimes it will. It makes no sense. Downloading music to it is a time consuming, frustrating chore. I would not recommend this to anybody.
This MP3 Player and its software is JUNK… – Christopher M. Powell – Arizona
Here’s why:
– It won’t connect through a USB Hub, it must have its OWN USB port. Well that’s a problem if you have a limited number.
– It only works with this stupid MusicMatch software that seems to have been written without simplicity or intuitiveness in mind.
– It has a hard time identifying itself to Windows XP, which in turn has a hard time installing it even with the latest drivers in place. In addition, upon installing the drivers, it wants to restart the computer…those days are long gone, I think they went away with Windows 98. Well written drivers and software don’t need to restart any more.
– Once the system finally does find the player, and the MusicMatch software recognizes it, it only uploads one song to the player before it gives an error “Device Not Found”. WELL YOU FOUND IT FOR THE FIRST FILE!
– STEER CLEAR of this product! Get an MP3 player that the computer can see as a file system (like another hard drive), and you can drag and drop files directly to it without being handcuffed to some goofy proprietary software.
Nice MP3 Player, works O.K…. – –
Nice little Mp3 player.(…) The RCA LYRA (128mb) is a much better buy, though.
OVERALL:
Nice player
Small form factor
Good MP3 capacity (64mb)
Good sound
BE GENTLE WITH THE LOCK SWITCH!
